Interest in the ongoing rivalry between rappers Drake and Meek Mill has effectively boosted the prospects of Atlanta up-and-comer 21 Savage, who now has four simultaneous singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Considered one of 2016′s breakout hip-hop artists, Savage landed a guest spot on Mill’s long-awaited DC4, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album charts, shifting 87,000 sales equivalent units entirely through streams and paid downloads. As has been the case repeatedly this year with digital-only projects like this, multiple tracks off DC4 appeared on the Hot 100 as a function of how Billboard factors music subscription services and digital music retailers into its calculations.
