In the ongoing battle to capture shoppers' attention and dollars, retailers and brands are pivoting, morphing, and throwing proverbial spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. Designers are shifting towards a see now, buy now model, tweaking the idea of what haute couture actually is and even leaving the fashion week circus all together. For indie label AYR, it's about doing away with the idea of "fall" and "spring" in favor of giving consumers one new, climate-appropriate piece a week throughout the entire year. The reasoning? All the pieces should fit together in one closet you never feel the need to ditch or replace—nothing should be pushed to the back because it's so recognizably Fall 2015.
